Why don't you enlighten us "fucking morons" o wise and great one? It don't make a difference how much training they get if they don't put it to good use. I could train my dog 24/7/365, but that don't mean he'll ever teach algebra.

How much would it cost to have some training for the refs in the summer on how to call the games consistently, example a little better idea on what to call and what to let go. With the way some of the refs have performed this year it questions if this has ever been done.
Checked travel costs lately? Meals, hotels, pay. Ice time?I'm sure this isn't a f/t job for most of these folks, so we will also ask them to burn a week of vacation for this.

How much would it cost to have someone evaluate the tapes on a weekly basis and see how the refs are doing and give them some guidance on how to become better refs and how they could have called the game better? In better words a coach for the refs.
Have you seen some of the tapes from the games?

Don't you think that the guys on the team deserve to have the games called on a consistent basis? If this is to be a developmental league for the players and the refs is anyone working with the refs to further develop them?
Why don't you find out and take your complaints and suggestions to them? Might be more constructive that way. Tell them the owners will be glad to pitch in more money and us fans will be glad to pay higher prices to offset these ideas.

Robertson Cup didn't need to spend a lot of money, just create a good and fair atmosphere for all teams and fans that were there. Make it feel like the special event it is supposed to be.
Wasn't aware there was an "unfair" atmosphere. $500 isnt going to go very far...

If you are trying to develop your skills so that you can move up and have this be your job sometimes you need to pay for your training. Like people who go to college or to a trade school. After all the league is trying to help develop refs for bigger things right?

NOPE. But I have watched enough of the B2 feeds to see at least some bad calls. The tapes aren't great, but they are better than nothing for training purposes.

Letting one set of fans do something then telling the other set of fans they can't do that is not creating a fair atmosphere for the fans.
