You said,

"Ok...get over it. I think it sucks that an RV show is more important to the city than the chance to win the Cup at home this year. Your boys fought like tigers to get to the top, and there's nothing about this that is fair."

First of all, I know that the bandits "fought like tigers", I've been to the games! Secondly, it's not a matter of fairness, it's a matter of poor planning on the part of the guys that are supposed to be responsible for taking care of these things on behalf of the bandit players and fans..If you all want to be mad at anyone, you should be mad at them for not making the necessary arrangements to ensure that we had ice for the playoffs! It's that simple!

I truly think it sucks that the Bandits wont have home ice for the first round of the playoffs. But, with Gill in goal my money is still on the Bandits even if they play in a parking lot.

1234 - the 'ok...get over it' was poor placementon my part. That referred to the Tony bashing. I tend not to use paragraphs when posting, because, well, why bother? It's clear grammar is NOT required here, lol.

Believe me, no Tornado fan more than me wants to see the Bandits rule. I have this bitter taste in my mouth for Tornado management that tastes somewhat similar to bile - yeah, the boys shouldn't have to suffer for their personnel, but they've been to the mountaintop. No one can dispute that the T Bs have overcome more this season, and the best team should win. Fortunately, you guys have a PDG road team, so not having home ice may not even be the issue that we're all assuming it will be.

game on!

Us Montanans are used to getting in the car and traveling great distances, if I were in your shoes I would just call in sick to work and drive up to St. Louis and go to the game. It's that simple.

Well, since point my post just went whizzing over your head, why don't you keep your advice to yourself.

Hey you two-bit skank, all I'm saying is that you need to BUCK UP, get in your '76 Pinto or whatever piece of crap that you drive and drive up to St. Louis! I get so sick of you Texans bitching about how you have Springfield and Santa Fe in your division and how far away they are WAAAAHHH! Try living in Montana, we have to drive long distances all the damn time, we just buck up and do it!

Look, bitch, have you seen the size of Texas? Another person from Montana with Texas envy. Rolling Eyes

The point of the thread, if you cared to read it, is that after fighting hard to get the home ice advantage in the first round, the ice has been taken away for an RV show. How would you feel if they said Bozeman had to play their games in another town much less another state?

Funny you should ask, in 96-97 we had to play ALL of our home games in Helena, 116 miles away. Yes, I agree with you it sucks when you have to play your home games far away but me and my friends still made it to almost all of them that year.

116 miles is a helluva lot different than 543.

To Moe Bandits - the ice was not "taken away for an RV show"... the bandits management evidently didn't think they'd be in the playoffs or they would've reserved the barn before the rv'ers did...think about it. I'll say it again - don't believe everything that you're told!

I agree with you!!!!!!! Please also take note that 3 'road' games is a lot different than 28 'road' games. AND yes I have seen the size of Texas it is the 2nd largest state, Montana is the 4th largest state. Funny you threw out the number 543, that is how far it is from Bozeman to Bismarck. A road trip that my friends and I have made 3 or 4 times over the past 5 years or so. Put a 12 pack in your car and hit the road!

No, I am not Meri Smith's daughter, nor am I a relative of anyone else at the barn. I just happen to think that you all have the right to know that there is more to this story than what you have been told. You don't have to like it and you certainly don't have to agree - I just think that you have the right to know. Besides, I would think that you would want to know both sides of the story so you can decide for yourself - or would you rather just believe everything that you've been told by TBO and continue to bash FSF? Our guys need our support regardless of where they're playing? It's your call.
